Chapitre unique by dreamer

Tulips are blown wide open

Welcoming the spring sun like it's a close friend.

It's been two days

And it still hurts so much to look at them.

I guess it's just a phase

But tears keep falling on my cheeks

Every time I watch the tulips through the window.

It's like a thunderous but silent shriek

And I'm screaming at this life-and-death unfairness.

You didn't get a chance to see tulips last year

‘cause you were at the hospital, tears welled up in your eyes,

And you won't watch them this year either

Unless there are some tulips in heaven.

Well, that's what I'm hoping for every time I cry.
